Privacy

A plain-language guide to your information.

Yes, Dear helps you remember relationship details. This page explains how information you choose to add is handled in the app. It does not make promises about encryption, retention periods, or legal compliance beyond what the product actually provides.

What we collect

We collect the account information you provide, such as your name and email address, along with the relationship memories, preferences, dates, plans, notes, and attachments you choose to save in Yes, Dear.

Connected-couple sharing

When you actively connect with a partner, items marked shared may be available to that partner while the connection is active. Private items remain associated with the person who created them.

Surprise Mode

Surprise items are author-only. They are not available to a connected partner and are excluded from shared notifications and partner-facing recommendations.

Unlinking

If a couple connection is unlinked, partner access to shared items is revoked. Records created by each person revert to private for their creator. Jointly created dates may be retained as separate copies so each person can keep their history.

Notifications and email

We may use the contact details you provide to send account, reminder, or support-related communications. Please use an email address and notification settings you control, and avoid including sensitive details in notification previews.

Deletion and questions

If you want to ask about your account or request deletion, contact us at team@keepsake-py6.madethis.app. We will explain the available next steps for your request.

Use good judgment

Do not use Yes, Dear to store information you could not safely share with a service. Keep especially sensitive information out of notes, attachments, reminders, and account messages.
